Memory Cloth — India Art Street
On Sunday evenings in Trivandrum they blocked off a street and painters, poets musicians and theatre groups shared their art.
I was invited to bring my interactive installation. The saris were spread out on the street and dozens of people drew images of India on them. This was on the TV news that night, the newspaper the next day and on the state tourist website.
Hundred of people, all ages, came to my exhibit and drew on the 16 saris filling up the gallery space.
