Memory Cloth — Japan

My daughter, Riah, and I went to Japan with the Wisconsin Painters & Sculptors.  After the 12 hour flight just when we were to land in Tokyo there was a typhoon.  We were diverted north to the island of Sapporo and then south to Osaka.  Hours later they let us out and to a hotel for a few hours sleep before we took the bullet train back to Tokyo.

Our hosts were incredibly kind and generous to us.  One evening they took us to a special new Japanese restaurant in a building 400 years old.  The food was all deep fried and served on skewers  - 17 courses - each on little plates.
