Our first module is designed to help you better understand the profession of athletic training. Certified athletic trainers are unique health care providers who specialize in the prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses. Athletic trainers (ATs) can be found in many locations providing a range of health care services to patients and clients.
Required Reading:
Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 in your AT Primer textbook (Note: Chapter 2 is titled Historical Perspectives in AT and serves as the foundation for the first written assignment)
