Memory Cloth — California Dreaming
I was 20 when I got married.
We moved to Berkeley for Jared’s graduate school in May.
My idea of California was formed by Gidget movies. I took only my summer clothes, cotton shorts and shirts.
As the rains started in the fall I discovered how cold 50 degrees cold feels.
When we went back to Illinois for Thanksgiving I got all my sweaters and jackets.
