Module 8 is our first that focuses on a region of the body and explores the various injuries that are common to that region. Foot, ankle, and lower leg injuries represent some of the most common in sport and physical activity. This unit will require a greater level of study and attention to detail regarding the various anatomical terms. Remember, I don't treat this as an anatomy class; any anatomy we learn (and I expect you to remember) will be within the context of the injuries presented.
