Memory Cloth — Soggy Garden

As a child we had a backyard that sloped down to a fence under a big tree.  The ground was always soggy. 

I would plant flower seeds there. They’d sprout – turn yellow and die. 

Years later I learned that plants needed sun and not too much water.
