Memory Cloth — Olander Blue
My Mother and her favorite cousin, Evie, were Olander girls in Milwaukee. Their favorite color was blue. So Olander Blue was ANY color blue that an Olander girl liked.
At Mom’s memorial service Dad asked us to wear one of Mom’s crazy hats. My daughter, Kaylee, dyed her hair Olander Blue and wore a bright red feather spiral.
My brother told some very funny stories about our Mom. My cousin said they watched all the feathers bobbling as we laughed and laughed.
