Memory Cloth — Isthmus Ad

Divorced for years I decided to put an ad in Isthmus. It took a year for me to figure out exactly what to ask for.

I put it in around Valentine’s Day.
I got 12 letters. Craig’s stood out-
3 legal size pages – he wrote a paragraph on each word I wrote. Smart, funny and kind- I knew I wanted to be his friend. It was the only letter I answered.

We talked on the phone 3 hours. We met at a coffee shop and talked for 5 hours. When we stood up to leave I realized he was shorter and younger than me. I never would have thought of him romantically, if I’d met him the usual way.
