The purpose of my ongoing forest installation
is to celebrate the Fourth World Women's Conference held in Beijing, China,
September 1995. Many members of non-governmental organizations attended
and more women were in attendance than at any other such function in history.
I was an attendee along with many sister Women's Caucus for Art members.
We feminists must organize to plan counteractions to the violence and wars
perpetrated by men - Its not all men, but it's always men.
The installation comprises mixed media assemblage pieces which can be arranged
to fit a gallery space as well as outdoor and public spaces.
