As I reflect on this discussion, I feel no bitterness towards KT Horning, or towards Elizabeth Bluemle, or Elizabeth Bird... and I could go on and on naming people who I don't feel bitterness towards.
I don't even feel bitterness towards you, Marc, or Norma Jean, or Charles, and I certainly don't feel bitterness to white people as a whole.
I feel frustration, and sometimes anger, at the status quo, and yes, the power structure that keeps that status quo in place.
And I don't understand what you mean by purity. Purity of what?
Part of me says to ignore your email, Marc, but I don't like being labeled as bitter towards Whites. In fact, I married one almost 25 years ago and we have a delightful relationship.
I urge you not to characterize me as you have done.
