Clarification about my post saying I'd downloaded an electronic version of Tim Tingle's book. I did so because I had run out of time to join the discussion and couldn't find it locally
On royalties - to answer Paula's question - It does in some cases but maybe not always. At larger publishers I've learned the author royalties are not always favorable compared to book orders. .
But - I did, in saying I bought the electronic version, step on the toes of several brilliant indie bookstore owners inadvertently. So i should say that I bought the electronic version for expediency but backed it up with an order for a hardcover from a local bookstore.
I am committed to keeping hope (and indie bookstores) alive!…………..Christine
