Tim's HOUSE OF PURPLE CEDAR

Thanks, Tim, for spending this week with us on CCBC-NET.

All--do get his House of Purple Cedar. It is not a kid lit title but I think it is fine for older students (high school), much like Erdrich's The Round House is.

Like Ghost, it has racism in it, but with Tim's care and confidence in humanity, you'll move through it and come to the end, remembering the characters and events. And sighing deeply, in a good way. Here's a link (one more time): http://www.cincopuntos.com/products_detail.sstg?id=216

Again--thank you, Tim!

Debbie
