This is slightly off-topic and I'm not even sure Tim Tingle is still involved in the conversation, but I just read "Saltypie, A Choctaw Journey from Darkness into Light." I'm curious to know why, if no one "saw the boy who threw the stone," the author decided it was a boy. Why not a girl or a man or a woman?
