Another resource: Skipping Stones Multicultural Children's Magazine bestows multicultural book awards on an annual basis.   http://skippingstones.org/honors_98.htm   They also review multicultural children's books.  

(Their next issue, April-May-June 2014, will have a number of features about Armenia and which I curated.)
