I agree! The CCBC Choices list is not only a wonderful resource for Wisconsin teachers, librarians, parents, and children but a gift for the rest of the country in its inclusion of a variety of books and the valuable introductory information. I was fortunate to have sat in on many of the book discussions when I was a student at the UW-Madison School of Library and Information Studies, and what I learned became the foundation of my work as editor of MultiCultural Review and beyond.

By the way, I truly miss MultiCultural Review and hope that one day someone will step in with the resources to restart a magazine that I envisioned as a source of activism as well as information. Unfortunately, I was not the owner, and while I worked hard for many years to create a quality product in terms of editorial content, in the midst of the Great Recession I wasn't able to find an institution or organization to take it on.

Thanks to Ginny, KT, Megan, and all the other librarians who have built that source to the stature it has!!! We are so lucky!
