I read Debbie Reese's essay on diversity in Locomotive. This is just the kind of discussion we want to encourage at the 21st Century Children's Nonfiction Conference, June 20-22. If anyone who is planning to attend the conference wants to host an Open Table about the topic, we will be glad to facilitate this.
