Good afternoon!
I'd love to see a list of titles and authors in the American Indian category. With 18 of 33 books by American Indian authors... that's quite a lot! But, how many are by Joe?
KT's note that the stats don't reflect quality is important. There are several YA books and series with Native protagonists that have me shaking me head. Ones that fell short include HOOKED by Fichera, GHOST HAWK by Susan Cooper, and the "soul seeker" series by Alyson Noel (first one published in 2012; last one in 2013)...
I'm thrilled to see that Tingle and Gansworth's books will be discussed later.
Debbie
