Thanks to all of you who have contributed to a lively discussion of the His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman. It's clear that these are books that people will be reading, discussing, studying, and disagreeing with each other about for many years to come. We'd also like to thank those of you who reminded us of some of the other fine books Pullman has written, including "Clockwork" and "I Was a Rat!"
As we come to the end of our discussion, I'd like to give a special acknowledgment to David Fickling who shared with us some of his insights as the U.K. editor of "His Dark Materials."
There is still a bit of time for some last words, if any of you have closing remarks to share before we move on to our June discussion.
We'd also like to remind everyone that the transitional time in our discussion is a time when we invite you to make any announcements you may have related to children's or young adult literature.
