It's hard for me to be specific because it's been a while since i read the book but I remember putting it down and saying. "That's it? Love makes the world go round?" It had to do with the changing of Lyra and Will's relationship which I didn't buy and the fact that "dust" wasn't what I thought it was going to be. Also, because I couldn't accept the sudden love between Will and Lyra, their sacrifice at the end didn't seem like such a big deal.
On the whole, I wanted more. I felt he didn't wrap things up the way I would have liked, that's all.
