Memory Cloth — Happy New Year

I was in Seoul with Riah. She was coming home after a year there teaching English. Our flight was cancelled.

She was delighted to spend an extra day seeing her friends. It was their New Year. Everything was closed.

Someone at the hotel wrote out Happy New Year in Korean and I started this embroidery.
