Statement: Our faces both reveal and conceal aspects of ourselves-in the same manner an artist reveals and conceals with his or her work. When one studies an artist's work an intimacy and vulnerability between the viewer and the artist is created. I am trying to capture this intimacy and vulnerability in my subjects.
