For me, forgiveness
toward others andmyself is one of the most challenging aspects
of the spiritual path. Jesusemphasized that forgiveness is an
ongoing process. We may need to forgivean injury not just seven
times, but seventy times."The Illuminated Heart", a drawing in oil pastel, was based onan image I visualized during a period of meditation. It deals with the experienceof divine grace, the medium of forgiveness--the flow of love and light whichheals the heart and frees the soul.
