Although I have only been on this listserv a couple of years, I agree with all these comments. This listserv has been something I have looked forward to every day, and it has enriched my life as a reader and writer. The monthly books to read and input from the books' authors, as well as the monthly topic discussions have all been highlights. I may not have sent questions, but I read the books, enjoyed hearing the authors' points of view, and thought about the topics being discussed. I believe there are many books I would not have known about, or read, had they not been mentioned. It also gave me insight into the passion of so many for books. My Christmas season just got a little sadder knowing none of this will be there in the new year.

Thank you so much for all your work in keeping this going and for allowing me to be a member.

I will miss this listserv a great deal. I realize that fewer people
participate via email these days (my other listservs have many fewer posts
as well) but I really liked the convenience of threaded conversations
popping up in my inbox. If I was too busy, I didn't need to respond, but I
could at least read the posts later when I had time. I particularly enjoyed
the revised format this past year, which brought posts and insights from
authors as well as readers.

KT and everyone else who facilitated this list, my thanks for 20 great
years!
