We want to thank Gavin Grant for sharing some of what went into creating the anthology "Monstrous Affections." I'm glad Gavin mentioned the various contributors to the book. (Alice Sola Kim's “Mothers, Lock Up Your Daughters Because They Are Terrifying," the final story in the collection, was one of my particular favorites--if I had to pick favorites:)

We are always on the lookout for strong short story anthologies to share with classroom teachers in particular, although I think the title and theme of this collection makes it one that will also draw y.a. readers on their own.
