Hi Ginny,
  While the main text does have a repeating element to the structure, I don’t use a consistent rhythm. Sometimes rhythm can be a great literary device in books (fiction and nonfiction), but in this case, it didn’t seem like the right approach. Also, the repeating element is only in the primary text. The secondary text is more straightforward, though still written in an engaging style. The tertiary text featuring the bookworms adds humor that kids love, but it also reinforces some of the complex science content.
