Children's Nonfiction Conference and The Nonfiction Minute

Speaking of nonfiction I hope this is on topic:
Next weekend is the Children's Nonfiction Conference in New Paltz, NY. Here's the link: http://childrensnfconference.com/ Also, iNK Think Tank is developing a FREE resource for teachers and librarians for next fall called The Nonfiction Minute. It's a blog written for kids. We're previewing some samples on the website: www.nonfictionminute. When it goes live in the fall, one new Minute will appear every day and the past minutes will all be archived by topic. Initial response to it has been extremely encouraging. We'd love feed back privately and publically. You can say what you think on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/nonfictionminute It is our intention to introduce many teachers who don't know about high quality nonfiction to us as authors so that you can follow up and introduce them to our books. I feel like it's a real opportunity to get our proverbial foot in many classroom doors.
