For those interested in Jazz, my daughter, photographer Laurel Golio, and a journalist friend, Diana Scholl, interviewed her as part of their LGBT documentary project, We Are the Youth. http://wearetheyouth.org/blog/jazz/#.U26d-3f9FYo
Laurel and Diana have been interviewing LGBT kids nationwide since 2010, posting the profiles and additional resource materials on their website at www.wearetheyouth.org. The profiles have also been exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum, the Leslie-Lohman Museum, and elsewhere, and will be on display in an upcoming exhibition at the Silver Eye Center for Photography in Pittsburgh. The project will be released as a book in June, published by the social activist organization Space-Made, and available through the We Are the Youth website. Best, Susanna
