Save the Date: 7th Annual Horace Mann Upstanders Book Award and Children’s Literature Conference, Saturday, June 14, 2013, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at The Wildwood School, 12201 Washington Place, Culver City, CA 90066. Authors! Illustrators! Breakout Sessions! 2014 award winners are Anne Ursu, Paul Fleischman, and Linda Christensen and Rethinking Schools. Past winners: Tomie dePaola, Henry Cole, Luis Rodriguez, Innosanto Nagara, Greg Neri, Nikki Grimes, Paul Fleischman, Susan Patron, etc. See attached flyer.
