I find it interesting the question is posed "Do you have a new favorite anthology...".
  Anthology as we knew it in the past is a rare breed. Fewer and fewer collections are being published than ever before.
  In 20l3 only two collections appeared: POEMS TO LEARN BY HEART selected by Caroline Kennedy (Disney/Hyperion) and my ALL THE WORLD'S A STAGE
(Creative Editions) - both for older readers.
  2014 will see two anthologies published: FIREFLY JULY: A YEAR OF SHORT POEMS (Candlewick) and my forthcoming MANGER (Eerdmans), both picture books, both in production for quite some time.
  Poetry, per se, is again a stepchild of the publishing industry.
  It will be interesting to discuss this plight.
