The children's book world lost a talented artist and author with the untimely death of David McLimans (Gone Wild: An Endangered Animal Alphabet) March 20 at his home in Madison, WI.

David participated in our first children's book fest in 2010 and returned in 2013 as part of a Caldecott Panel. He was a kind man with a generous spirit. Our condolences go out to David's loved ones.
