Slightly OT Re: Sex/Sexuality: Weighing Quality and Visibilty

Hi, all. Great conversation. It's such a great reminder for me as one of many gatekeepers to be clear (with myself, not just my customers) about how and why we decide to put things on our shelves or not.
I just had to share an amusing moment that arose from this thread. Yesterday, I was meeting with a sales rep and we were on my laptop looking at catalogs. Little email alert banners on the top right of my screen kept popping up during our meeting, with the headers "Sex," "Sex and YA," and
"Sexuality" and "Sexuality and Religion."
Finally, I gave into the need to let her know that these were book-related emails, not smut. (Of course this would happen the one day I used my own laptop in a sales meeting.)
Okay, back to being serious! Just had to share.
