Panel on Sex and Violence in Children's Books Planned for PEN World Voices Festival Mark your calendars for the 10th annual PEN World Voices Festival, April 28-May 4 in New York City. Our panel, "Sex and Violence: Where the Wild Things (really) Are," will feature Lamija Begagic, a Serbian author and editor of the children’s magazine Palcic; Robie Harris, author of books about sexuality including It's Perfectly Normal, It's So Amazing! and It's Not the Stork!; Susan Kuklin, author and photographer of Beyond Magenta: Transgender Teens Speak Out andNo Choirboy: Murder, Violence and Teenagers on Death Row; and Canadian author Niki Walker, author of Why Do We Fight?: Conflict, War and Peace. We'll share the date, time and location of the panel as soon as it's finalized.
