I think the topic is novels, but just in case, another non-fiction work that I really appreciate for YAs is Body Drama: Real Girls, Real Bodies, Real Issues, Real Answers by Nancy Amanda Redd. It is again matter-of-fact and very helpful with teens who are wondering if their body & experiences are "normal." I would have loved having that book as a teen and I think like Perfectly Normal, it echoes that open attitude seen in many YA books recently.
