The Ezra Jack Keats Foundation has just announced the (wonderful) winners of the 2014 Ezra Jack Keats New Writer and New Illustrator Awards. The awards are for writers and illustrators of picture books in the spirit of Ezra Jack Keats who have written and illustrated no more than three previous picture books. I am glad to share the announcement with this list because this is an award that honors diversity. Click on the link below for the press release.
