Winding Down the February Discussion

As Annette mentioned, our February discussion is coming to an end, but feel free to continue talking this weekend. After all, February is a short month and March is long. Also, we will add international lit and translated books to our list of future topics.

We had hoped to have participation from Eric Gansworth. I relayed your questions to his publicist last week, and still hope to hear back. I know he is on deadline. I will post his response if it comes in in the next few days.

Another bit of housekeeping: a few members wrote that us they had been unsubscribed. We did some investigation into this and found it was a glitch in the system that involved the unsubscribe link appended to each message and the digest version of CCBC-Net. We have made a change so that won't happen any more. Unfortunately it means it won't be quite as easy to unsubscribe. There are new instructions appended to each message but if you are having difficulty, please don't write to the whole list -- just write to me at horning_at_education.wisc.edu and I will help. And, no, we won't hold you here against your will.

I'm the meantime continue talking and, if any of you have announcements, we'll also open our traditional open announcement period at this time, so announce away.

Thanks again to all of you for such a lively, thoughtful discussion.
