Still at the Ethnography Forum, but I really, REALLY wanted to publicly applaud the long, AMAZING list that Sarah pulled together from our conversations this month. I feel much better about where we're leaving the topic now. A week ago I was tangled up in "analysis paralysis" and emotion… I feel as if I now have a charge, a purpose, and some next steps to begin enacting in my practice and scholarship over the next 12 months. I will absolutely be sharing this list widely.
I've communicated with Sarah offlist about this… is there any way that someone with a popular blog, Tumblr, Pinterest, etc. could publicize this list widely, giving Sarah/CCBC-Net full credit? I'd like to Tumblr this and Tweet it out, but with a March 1 Literacy Research Association deadline & reappointment materials due at the end of this semester (!!!) I'd much rather just link to Lee & Low or another site that puts this information out there.
Happy March to all!
