Another picture book for younger children: I'd like to add DINOSAUR THUNDER by Marion Dane Bauer, illustrated by Margaret Chodos-Irvine. This is an empowering story about a little boy who conquers his fear of thunder storms by roaring back at it like a Dinosaur. And in a nice touch in the ending-he even consoles his older brother...
