     Reading Pictures 2013

        The Artist's Voice and Vocabulary in Picture Books

When: Monday, December 9, 2013 1:00pm - 8:00pm

Where: Society of Illustrators, 128 East 63rd Street NYC

Three prominent illustrators, Peter Brown, Jerry Pinkney and Jeanette Winter share their behind-the-scenes decisions and discuss their creative process.

Art Directors Laurent Linn (Simon & Schuster), Martha Rago
(HarperCollins) and Cecilia Yung (Penguin) lead a gallery tour of the Original Art Exhibit for a close-up examination of the works on view.

Moderated by Judy Zuckerman, Brooklyn Public Library.
