What is better than the SIDEWAYS STORIES FROM THE WAYSIDE SCHOOL by Louis Sachar? They are so funny and each gives its readers something important to think about if they are so inclined. I know that HOLES got much more recognition, but I think these stories are magical and capture so much about people and institutions.
