We invite you to post final thoughts on concept books, and also to share your children's and young adult-literature-related announcements in the coming days.

After Labor Day, we'll launch into the first of our two topics for September:

*September on CCBC-Net*

*First Half of Month: School Stories.*From first days to fitting in to friendship, many of us are thinking about school-related topics right now. During the first half of September, we invite you to share some of your favorite books about or set in school, including great read-alouds for starting the school year.

*Second Half of Month: Made for Each Other.*Here at the CCBC, we love finding the perfect pairing or grouping of fiction and non-fiction titles on related themes and topics. It's a great way to showcase how fictional and informational texts can complement each other while meeting the diverse needs and interests of readers.During the second half of September, we invite you to suggest fiction and non-fiction books that are "made for each other."

Have a good and safe holiday weekend!

Megan
