Dreaming Up: A Celebration of Building by Christy Hale shows children building. I would have liked to see an even higher ratio of female architects in the endnotes, but was happy that there were a few. It definitely showed both boys and girls engaged in building activities and enjoying themselves. I am excited to be using it with my first grade this year paired with building materials in centers. :)
It doesn't necessarily *break* the stereotype, but shows that girls build too.
