I assume most of you are aware of Lisa Yee's Bobby books which do a lot of gender flipping.
Aimed at the Chapter book crowd (or early reader? is that the new name for first chapter books), Yee's protagonist, Bobby Ellis-Chan, is the non-football playing son of a famous football player who is now a stay-at-home father. Mrs. Ellis-Chan is a powerful businesswoman and Bobby's older sister is the best football player on her high school team.
Bobby vs. Girls (Accidentally) came out in 2009. and Bobby the Brave (Sometimes) came out 2010
