Hi Melissa, Have you tried Toontastic or Strip Designer?

By the way, I am working with a growing group of librarians who are sharing apps field-tested for toddlers through elementary. We are pinning apps wit h valuable metadata on Little eLit's Pinterest boards (http://pinterest.com /littleelit/). Check out the boards for other suggestions.

We're building a resource for librarians integrating interactive digital me dia in libraries and schools and the Pinterest boards are the first step.

Also, if anyone is interested in helping build our collection by pinning ap ps great for storytime, elementary programs, or anytime, check out the how- to information I recently posted on the Little eLit blog or email me. We n eed your help!

Best,

Claudia

 Story apps for the Library

Hello!!

I would really love some ideas for great iPad apps that incorporate storyte lling or creating a story for elementary aged students. Our school campus will be receiving iPads for students to use and I was interested in finding out more about different apps I can use for student created stories or lis tening to stories.

Thanks so much, Melissa Surratt
