I was lucky enough to have three of my books come out in audio this spring: Girl, Stolen; The Night She Disappeared; and The Girl Who Was Supposed to Die. The first two are narrated by Kate Rudd, who won the Audie for The Fault in Our Stars.
I listened to most of Girl, Stolen on a long drive Wednesday. I felt Ms. Rudd did an amazing job. You can tell just fr om the way she conveys the dialog if the character is angry, in agony, yawn ing, eating, etc.
But what's most important to me about Girl, Stolen coming out in audio is that the main character is blind. While I've heard fr om a number of blind readers who have had their computers read it to them, this will make a huge difference in making the book more accessible to them .
