I agree 100% with your assessment of "The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian". My other YA audio book favorite is "Wee Free Men" by Terry Pr atchett and read by Stephen Briggs. He is the delightful reader of the whol e Tiffany Aching series. They are all terrific.

I love hearing everyone's favorites. Thank you for sharing! nc

 Favorite Audio Books

Two of my favorite audio books which are geared toward older, mature teens and adults, are:

"The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian," written and narrated by Sherman Alexie. It is a heartbreaking and heartwarming story of teenager A rnold Spirit, Jr., and his high school experiences off the Spokane Reservat ion in Washington. The author's voice fits the 'nerdy' high school boy per fectly.

"The Book Thief," written by Markus Zusak and narrated by Allen Corduner is a moving Holocaust story of a young girl living in Germany through World W ar II.
