Caroline Feller Bauer died this week at the age of 77, in Miami, Florida, where she lived for many years.
Caroline was an incredible educator, filled with gusto and ideas galore. In l977 she published THE POETRY BREAK, a wonderful compendium of poems, ideas, and ideology.
She also compiled a series of children's anthologies including SNOWY DAY, WINDY DAY, RAINY DAY.
I shall miss her wit, her enthusiasm. It is so sad to see another Poetry Advocate leave us.
