I confess I am not a disinterested party in this recommendation; Carmen Bernier Grand is my neighbor and has been a generous mentor to me for many years. She has pioneered the biography in poems format so in honor of poetry month I'd like to recommend 4 of her titles which pertain to artists.
Frieda: Viva La Vida Diego: Bigger than Life Alicia Alonso: Prima Ballerina Picasso: Yo el Rey
I know Carmen has been working on a book about Salvador Dali, but it may not be out for a little while. Do give the ones I mentioned a look, each one is a gem.
