Joining the discussion on books about artists, a new book has quite impressed me. DIEGO RIVERA: AN ARTIST FOR THE PEOPLE is a handsomely designed, and revealing portrait of the man.I'm curious about reader reactions and how kids have responded. There are simpler picture books about him and Freida Kahlo that could make for interesting discussions. The back matter and notations of careful research are impressive. Comments?
