Hello CCBC-Net! Hopefully you're all aware by now that this is the second y ear the Coretta Scott King Book Awards Breakfast will take place on Sunday morning at the ALA Annual Conference in Chicago rather than Tuesday. Regist er now, if you haven't already, for this festive event that kicks off an en tire day of celebrating the very best in books for kids: The day begins wit h the Breakfast from 7:00-9:30 a.m., followed by the Pura Belpre Book Award s Celebracion (sponsored by ALSC and REFORMA) from 1:00-3:00 p.m., and culm inates with the Newbery Caldecott Wilder Banquet from 6:00-11:00 p.m.

If you haven't yet registered for the conference, you may do so at http://a la13.ala.org/. If you've already registered, you may add ticketed events su ch as the Breakfast and the Banquet to your registration. We look forward t o seeing you there!
