I hope I'm not off topic on this but I have a huge video project going based on my book We Dare You! This book is a bind-up of five very popular books I co-authored with Kathy Darling, who, sadly, died two years ago. It includes Bet You Can'!, Bet You Can!, Wanna Bet!, Don't Try This at Home, and You Gotta Try This! In the project, I invite children to use the book as a script and make a video that shows how much fun science can be. I edit the videos and publish them on my website here: http://www.vickicobb.com/vickisvideolinks.html There are no costs involved. There are all kinds of instructions on my site about how to participate including releases so that the videos can be made public. As you can see, I've made more than sixty so far and there are 287 tricks in the book so we have a way to go. Older children can make the videos using younger children as subjects. People can bring their own creativity to this project.
Since I started this, I've become involved in many other things but if there is interest, I still want to make more of these. I've watched children click through all the videos and then want to read the book.
